Scamming and human trafficking on QL

I would like to thank all of you for your comments. Your contributions have increased our awareness and attentiveness about bad will people who try to take advantage of socially disadvantage people; men and women. I am happy to know this kind of exploitation takes place even in news papers such as Gulf Times as some people revealed because I didn’t know(I only talks about what I know and can prove if needed).. So you have added something to my knowledge.

My purpose of creating this forum was to alert people about what happened to a person I was trying to help in order for others to lean from it, but not to tarnish reputation of QL or to open the door for people to judge and insult one another. To me, QL is the best social network I know and therefore, I’m very thankful to the founder of Ql, management and all members who make QL very wonderful. So express yourself, give comment and if your have some experiences make them known to help other people, but do not insult others in a way or another. W are not here for that. I believe that we are mature and well-educated enough to make QL not only as a social network but also as a source of knowledge aimed at contributing to betterment of humanity at large

I know a man who keeps on checking Gulftimes looking for those filipina ladies searching for job. He call them and interview them in his office. He is not the owner of the company. He makes the interview at a time out of the working hours so that nobody will be there. He asks for the passport copy and CV. He shows that everything is official and true. He give an unbelievable offer to attract his victim. Later on, he calls or texts his victim for a second interview in a Hotel. Now you can guess what is next.

He told me about lots of his stories. So, be careful ladies. Don't be a naive loser.

Snessy, I don't have naive and dumb female friends. Besides, According to his stories, he never force/rape any of them. He simply and indirectly convience them that this is the pass to a new life with a good job.

In my opinion, a woman like that is a cheap dumb slut. A clean woman with principles won't let such man compete her mind and trap her no matter if this will cost her life.

On the other hand, ofcourse I am not on his side too.

As we all see, Snook simply replied to each one who used inappropriate language talking to her, the same way how they spoke with her.

Now, They ran crying to the admin to ban Ms. Snook, because she used inappropriate language, and sadly the admin ban her as soon as he get their pity request to ban the Evil Snook instead of reading the thread carefully and then take a fair and responsible action

Also, I never liked people (sepecially women) posting topics like - Please help - Need Job Urgently! or Urgent - Anybody Help!! etc etc. I always thought that these women are exposing themselves to exploitation. It's not specific to Qatar even. Happens everywhere.

So the bottomline is;

1.It's the jobseekers responsibility to ensure that the caller has a valid registered organization and is calling from a company registered phone.

2. Always recall on the received call number to reconfirm,specially if in doubt.

3. If you are a female candidate, never agree to meet anyone for interview outside office hours let alone meeting outside office. Thats a strict no no.

4. Women candidates should also use their instincts in understanding the intervewer's intentions. I'am sure this is no difficult task.

Olive, be positive. I'm glad he participated with this QL post. It's an eye opener for all the girls.

This is a call out for every girl in town. You should know by now that you never get in the car with a stranger or a new colleague either, nor meet a "jerk" alone at a hotel. At the lobby may be ok, but you're better accompanied. Stay highly cautious, suspicious and ready.

Keep your business meetings in busy areas.

I don't understand why some people who can not stand the IQ of others, or the ability to win a conversation keep on running to the admins in QL begging them that this or that hurted them so badly and requesting a ban on him/her. They better watch thier hands when typing instead of crying to the admin later.
