Saw that NHRC ad on Doha roads

It says: "National Human Rights Committee. Do something."

Kinda made me think what that "Do something" means. Is it whether to do something to fix the NHRC or do something to make the NHRC properly work in this country?

There's a conference starting next week entitled "Democracy 2009", with lots of important people attending. The posters are for their benefit.

I'm sure the local press will be full of Qatar's human rights achievements, together with lengthy articles on the freedom of the press, which Qatar is spreading through the Middle East.
