To Reduce Traffic in Future Karwa should help

Public Transport means a lot to many Big cities in reducing Traffic

It Has Been Some Time Since Karwa Cars & Busses Started Their Services. But It Is Sad To Say About Its Services. It Has To Do More...
1. Karwa Bus Should Take Example Of London, Mumbai(Best Service)which Covers The Whole City...

2.Specially Connect Rayyan, Industrial Area, Wakra Etc...
( No Need To Come To Al-Fardan & Take Another Bus)

3.Make Bus Stops Around Each Intersection & In The Opposite Direction For Small Distances

4.Make Ltd Buses For Longer Distances With Less Stops..

5. Increase Bus Frequency & Night Timings

6. Start New Services Around, Shopping Malls, Education Centers, Airports Etc.
If Possible To Saudia...(Dammam, Riyadh)

Thanks...

why karwa only has to do all that? why don't we call another transporting company to offer their services in Qatar.

the best example is Qtel: compare the current services and prices of Qtel now and before vodafone came to Qatar. similarly if another company will be allowed to work in the same field the services will become better and the public will get the benefits

Yassir, Your idea is too good... But the problem is who is going to care........

We cannot expect any better move from Karwa. They are not systematic.

yeah that's right! You can go anywhere by using public transport. Maybe Qatar gov should start think about MRT/LRT.

And what is the good example QDCLover? Mumbai is Mumbai with it's large population, narrow streets, all types of transportation on the road. Have you been to Singapore? See how well organized is their public transport system. And their population is 3x than Qatar with their land mass area about the size of Baharain.

The traffic in Mumbai is awful, so please do not cite that as a good example.

.. and they also need to start a mini bus service going all around the 52 undending streets of the Industrial area so they can collect passengers and bring them to a central point for onward transport on the bigger buses as the buses now going to the Industrial area avoid a vast area of the Industrial area. It would be wise for the Bus company to take feedback from their drivers and the travelling public to improve the service, the bus stops and the coverage of the area
