Can somebody please explain why here in Qatar there is no decent radio stations for English speakers.
I really enjoy listening to the radio but here in Qatar it's awful. And the English hosts in the morning......enough said!

Dubai has great stations so why can't we!!

Well, the number of listeners is meager in Qatar, its not profitable business for the radio stations which are expensive to set up. I watched the setting up of QF radio first hand, and I know how expensive these things are. And with the lack of advertising opportunites, it doesnt seem feasible to set up more radio stations over here.

But I would like to see some more radio channels aired from Qatar soon

I've lived a life that's full

I traveled each and every highway

And more, much more than this

I did it my way

Regrets I've had a few

But then again too few to mention

I did what I had to do

And saw it through without exemption

Dubai has some of the best FM stations I've ever stumbled across. QBS is so bad that I've not turned it on for over 3 years now.

Haha Danzelle.. Ok QBS is great, it's the best in the world. The hosts are out of this world..

Have I given enough respect?? Lol

So now I want to say that we are normal sinful human beings and we don't deserve the best, can we have the trash that they serve in Dubai or Bahrain?? :(
