Greetings! I just want to ask ano po pa ba ang kulang sa requirements ko kasi im going to Qatar with a BUSINESS VISIT VISA. Actually last March pa sana ako nakaalis ng bansa kaya lang nahold yung pagpunta ko. Wala daw akong Certificate galing Qatar Embassy. Ngayon nakakuha na ako ng Certificate. Ngayon ang hawak kong mga documents ay PASSPORT, CERTIFICATE FROM QATAR EMBASSY, PRINT OUT VISA, SPONSOR LETTER together with NBI and MEDICAL CERTIFICATE...Nag-aalala ako baka kulang yung nabigay saken ng Qatar Embassy or kung may mga kulang pa na kylangan sa Airport. Pls I need a response..Thank you.

Well, from asking around, I was told that if ever n mag expire ang business visa ko and ns immigration n yung papers ko pending release, e company n nag hire sa akin ang mag shoulder ng penalties... narinig mo na rin ba ito? Thanks again..

let me try to answer ur tanong:

1. Normally 3 working days pero madaming mga bagong patakaran ngayon at sobrang mahigpit na din sila for security reasons kaya nadedelay, ngayon...depende rin sa lakas ng koneksyon ng kompanyang papasukan mo.

2. Ang blue visa ay walang pagkaiba sa work visa, un na un! pag inapply ka ng company mo ng work visa or visa from the immigration ang lalabas ay un approved visa na kulay blue(blue visa) at to be stamp on your passport after 3 months, yun na ang work visa mo na 1 year or depende. But within that period of 3 months you need to finish your medical exam and finger print.

3. Eklaro mo sa akin eto: yun bang business visa mo ay binili mo para pumunta dito or company hire ka from Pinas? kung binili mo un sa mga kontak dyan..kelangan mo talagang mag-exit at bumalik ng panibagong 3months bisnes visa(syempre gusto nila kumita ulit), exit ka lang ng bahrain at balik ka dito para hintayin mo ang labas ng work visa mo. PERO kung company hire ka pwede mo silang pakiusapan e-extend ang visa mo w/o exit.

Note: mas maigi mag-exit ka kesa magbayad ng penalty kasi QR500/day pag naexpired ang bisnes visa mo. Dont wory pray ka lang na lumabas na work visa mo ok?

Hi, I came in Qatar only last March 15 (my first time) under business visa, then eventually got an offer from a different company. I was release by the company who sponsored my business visa, signed the job order to my new employer (last March 27) and currently all my paper works for transfer (to working visa) are already submitted to the immigration. My questions are:

1. How long will it take to process and have the working visa release (because as per company policy, I can start working ONLY when the visa is released)?

2. What is the difference of blue visa and that of the working visa?

3. My business visa is good for three months and it will expire on May 27, considering that my papers are with the immigration..what will happen if the immigration does not release my visa until that said date, do I have to exit the country or pay any penalties?

You guys are very rude to have something like this in an open forum. There are other Doha-based fora/forums for Filipinos. Post in your language there to your hearts' content, or pm each other, or do what then-Dohagirl-now-Gypsy did and start your own site, although I don't advise it coz she left/defected/decided "I'm not playing with you guys anymore" in a huff and was back after discovering the error of her ways.

But you are posting this in Tagaolg, a language most of us can't read or speak. That's rude. It's like being in mixed company and people speaking in their own tongue and you're none the wiser.

Alam nyo ba yung castle sa corniche? I can't remember the name at the moment pero maraming choices where we could sit and talk and relax. Plus, affordable naman ang food. The 2nd QL gathering was held there and it was nice.

So, okey sa inyo alas sais ng hapon sa Thursday. pwede rin 7pm para may time mag-rest after work.

Definitely smoking area po (smokers kc po ako, si cygnet din yata) or pwedeng non-smoking area if majority of the attendees are non smokers. Flexible ang lola nyo...hehehe.
