QatarLiving - Best In The Gulf.
I'm an Indian/Canadian expat who just arrived in Qatar from Montreal for a six month contract.
I was introduced to the qatarliving.com website by a colleague and I find the site and the community behind it pretty impressive.
I've learnt a lot about Qatar (business/social/politics etc) just by reading the posts in the forum, a lot of what I learnt would have been difficult to go round asking from people because of the conservative and close knit society, people don't bring strangers into their community this quickly.
The qatarliving.com community is very rich and vibrant, and I suspect that there are a lot of expats like me making the postings and keeping things lively.
Kudos to the brains behind the creation and maintenance of qatarliving.com
Are there other Qatar focused websites out there, similar to qatarliving.com?
Also, are there any Qatari websites (English or Arabic) that has more participation from indigenous Qatari citizens?
QL is Rocking Hard!!! Big Times!!! Thanks Qatari, Ahmed and The Admin.
I DO WHAT I LIKE, I LIKE WHAT I DO
Glad that you've been able to learn about Qatari through QL, it is indeed a resource. To answer your question there are a bunch of other sites such as
http://qatarvisitor.blogspot.com
www.iloveqatar.net
and
Qatar Expatz (I forget their link :P)
