Qatar radio

Hi

What radio stations do people listen to here? I can get Qatar radio on 97.5fm, then Bahrain Radio on 96.5 and Radio 2 from Dubai on 106.0fm. Anyone get any other English channels?

Also I've noticed Bahrain radio works well in the morning but has poor reception in the afternoon and the other way around for Radio 2 from Dubai. Any idea why?

For some reason, low cloud cover or high humidity seem to boost the reception of 104.8FM.

QBS is so bad that I now use my ipod in the car. However, if I need a laugh I tune into the news on QBS - in the last week I've heard them call Kim Jong Il (of North Korea) Kim Jong the 2nd. Twice.

The 'Ewe-rope-ian' Union stopped becoming funny last year.
