This is so important! Why hasn't this been done in Qatar yet? Has anbody had any experience with trying to implement this in Qatar? I am schocked it has not been done. Why haven't those involved in the health services pushed strongly for this? I have read that the Emir himself is very interested in healthcare and Qatar wants to be a hub for healthcare. How is it possible they don't have a good samaritan law in Qatar???!! It is a basic law for any country that wants to consider itself modern and advanced.
So what is the law in Qatar then? What happens if you try to help someone in Qatar and they die? Can you be held liable and be charged?
leaving someone to die when you can help is not acceptable anywhere
and to say that its the law in qatar is ignorant
why you bring up torah and arabs, or local culture into a non-issue
dont fabricate a lie and dwell on it
Plus, they easily get paid big over customers with such type of business than hospitals. And no "let God decide" views while drinking, eh? LOL

Haha!
I agree. Why waste money on hospitals when we could have more bars....
All the hospitals should be shut down too, If God wants a person to suffer or die, who are we to interfere...

I guess there are two ways to look at it. You could try and help the person and your actions could save that persons life or maybe they lead to his death. Their view is that rather than take the risk leave it god to decide. After all on a long enough time line we are all dead it just so happens that some of us die sooner than others. Maybe god hates that persons and wants them to die, so who are we to interfere.....
I have lived in many countries and I understand cultural relativity. However, I don't care what culture you are from, it is clearly morally wrong to leave a person to die when you could help them. Culture is not an excuse for everything.
Best thing to do is call an ambulance. If they don't get there in tome then just watch the person die. Well unless you want to risk many years in prison. That may seem harsh but as many people tell you, you have to respect the culture.
