Pysche [a poem ]

What distant light
illumes our dreams

And refracts as
rainbow in our art

That light that guides
as pale moon beams

And causes wishing
Glimmer as a star

Want is this light
Reflected, off upon a limpid pool

And love, is statue carves to it,
Chiseled florid stone.

A lamp that's lit
By one alone

That blinds him like a fool!
