Problem with Mashreqbank
Who are mashreqbank Customers here? Are you encountering problems with them?
I received my salary yesterday but I didn't receive any text msgs, then when I did the balance inquiry...I don't have a balance with them.
When I call to their CS dept. they keep on saying that because they're currently upgrading their system and they refer me to go to the branch.
Then yesterday, I received a lot of text messages regarding loan liquidation...they will credit some amount then they will debit it again...but when I check my internet banking all transactions is not written there.
Any mashreq customers here with the same prob like mine?
follow up with them and if in 40 days ur issue isnt resloved u can complain to QCB .

My big mistake is, I never listened to the previous mashreqbank customers both here and in the UAE, that this bank really Su*cks.
They're cheaters, IMHO.

me too, just this morning they've deducted an amount of more than 500 Riyals...
I'm beginning to understand that they've credited the principal liquidation amount to your account then they debited it again as payment, then they've just deducted the remaining amount of your monthly payment for your loan.
When I went to the bank last monday, they've told me that they've deducted the loan payment for all mashreq customer twice, one payment is still on hold..but the problem is, it's not showing on our bank statement online...but when you calculate it, the remaining balance + the loan payment the total will match with what is the remaining on your account.
CS 44083333 is useless, their system doesn't tie up with the details on your internet banking.
Everyday I keep on opening my internet banking and printing all the details as proof of what's happening on my account and keeping it for future reference.
One thing I really hate on what's happening, why they didn't inform us? They just do what they wanna do and make their customer freaking.
i monitored my online bank account while ago.
There are changes but still im worried, it's very easy for them to undo and redo their costumer's details.
My account now showed that they received the salary transfer, still they deducted the Principal liquidation (which in my understanding, my advance payment in my due for the monthly loan). but it's not showing that they deducted any amount from the newly transfred amount to complete my due for the month of November.
So i am worried, what next they will do if that's the case, maybe they will charge me again late payment.
And i will try to widraw from the atm machine if they will allow me and they did not freeze..
Now, it's so scary to leave amount in my account, i was thinking to make it always "0", so next time their system will go crazy, still i have the money.

This bank is always doing stupid things. We have better choices avilable in CBQ & Ahli bank. Try to avoid services with Masreq bank. I am one of the Victim. Since i applied for Credit card 45 days with proper documents till now i didnt get any information. Even they are not able to check the status.

Why they're upgrading their system without forecasting what will happen if it'll fail?
I paid earlier my due amount for Credit card. They deducted Principal liquidation worth 3thou riyals. And when my salary transfered, mashreq bank deducted again big amount :(...So for the month of November 2011, i paid double or twice for my loan & credit card.

they will do "reversal" and you'll get your money back!
yeah...I went to the branch recently, they told me that they've deducted the loan payment twice because of system failure. But it'll be fix until tomorrow.
