My husband is currently holding diploma of Electrical& Electronis. We are hoping to get a job for him in Doha, or else, we gonna find college/university that offer post graduate studies. Any suggestion where to look for?

you are the same person comin to doha for honeymoon???????????

it shoul dnot be a problem getting the visa for your husband, yup it depends upon the company applying for the visa too, usually there isnt a problem, as long as the one doing the papewrwork knows the right people he should be dealing with. dont worry, little bit of struggle and then it will be fine.

there are colleges here that offer diplomas, one college i had spoken to said they werent a university so they dont offer bachelors degree, but just a diploma, doesnt make sense spending so much money to get a diploma. most colleges dont have masters, except maybe the qatar university, i have been looking for an oppurtunity to do another masters or phd for the past 6 years, no evening classes that can serve our purpose either.

check texas university, college of north atlantic, what you could do, is google colleges in doha and see what you come up with, i dont remember names right now. i shall look into it and see if i can come up with names, so when u are here youcould give them a call and see what can be worked out.

I was able to sponsor my husband. I think that it depends on the pull of your company. I work for the government, so it was not a problem. Make sure to check with your company to see if it is possible before you come. One requirement is making over 4000 riyal/month.

Hi Xelull,

Are you going to sponsor your husband to be here in Qatar? My application to sponsor my husband has been rejected so I was wondering how you managed it and whether we can change something on our application. Your advice would be really appreciated.

Thanks EJ
