Please help me..i am in a trouble
hello friends.
my salary was credited to IBQ from last 2 years and they have issued some cheque books also for me , this cheques i have given to DOHA BANAk for my vehicle loan.
now i closed account in IBQ but they are not giving me the clearance letter, they are asking me to submit all cheques but DOHA BANK is not giving me the cheque.
so what i will do.
if i do open an account in DOHA BANK then all the problems will clear but they need clearance letter from my old bank.
please advise me...what i will do?

you need to get a liability letter from IBQ in favour of your new bank. This covers IBQ for 45 days. In the meantime re-issue Doha Bank with the remaining cheques from your new account in exchange for the IBQ cheques. You then give IBQ the original cheques back and problem solved.
DB wouldn't return till you produce them the replacement ones.

No need to get Clearance certificate just ask IBQ bank to issue you a letter that you dont have any libality with the bank show that letter to Doha bank with the help of that letter you can open new account with DOHA Bank.
and hope that will solve your problem
as i also did the same thing but my previous bank was QNB (and they issued me the letter)
Complian to Central Bank of Qatar, they will take action
