pending questions

Hey QL people,

I have few pending questions, I have a job offer in qatar and I have recieved my work visa couple of months back, but the problem is that it has been so hard to get my husband any sort of visa because he is palestenian. The company that employed me applied for him for a business visa and that was over a month ago, and everytime I check it says (UNDER PROCESSING) now I am starting to give up hope as I can not get any answers and when I contact the PR officer at my company he says that he was told that my husband is being investigated by national security and what not!!!. now my questions are :

  • has anyone experienced such a thing with a plestenian nationality or any other nationality and were they able to get a visa in the end.
  • what other way can I get him and how long it takes.(and could I get the contact number)
  • once a person is accepted into the country for a business or visit visa, does that guarantee that he would get a PR status if he passes all tests.
  • finally, could I sponsor him, having in mind that I have a canadian passport.

sorry I am asking too much questions , but it seems like this place would be the most helpful place.

Thanks guys.

I imagine that if you qualify (salary wise) to bring in your spouse that you are able to sponsor him.
