I've been using the hot water to heat the bathroom also..but sure does make shaving your legs an interesting obstacle..more like shaving the tops off goosebumps...and getting out is exciting to see how FAST you can dry off before you turn to a popsicle.
buy oil heater..gud..around 145 ..ur room heats up not of hot air..but the oil heating effect that takes place inside that heater. Gud one.u can go for it.

go for oil heater they are safe, Halogen Heaters and normal Fan Heaters not so. They are ok as long as you ae in the house- but don't trust them.
Trust me, I got experience with Cold being a Scandinavian myself.
