well, the case is she's under my stepfather's sponsorship and i want to have it transferred coz im having conflicts with him and i want to have her under my sponsorship...

It is worth giving it a go. They do sometimes make exceptions (my wife sponsors me, for example). If you can get your company to go through the process for you it will help.

Yes she can sponsor her child.. but the labor dept. will held an interview with the child's mother first and will have to approved the request.

I thinkthey consider the salary baracket if you can really afford to five them/him/her a better living.In Qatar Airways employees it is very easy to give visa for family,that's how my friends brought their whole clan here in doha.
what about residency? coz somebody told me that they dont allow it here for single moms.. i just need to be sure..
