Seems to be some questions about the FIFA Soccer World Cup being awarded to Qatar judging by what I read this morning - there is some new person at the helm - and apparently is pontificating about "fully" investigating awarding the games to Qatar, so maybe that is why there might be a bit of a slow-down in construction. Everyone will be nervous in case the worst happens!

Enshallah Qatar will come up smelling of roses and all will be well!

those who are working on construction & logistics will notice this. not that there are no projects but most of them will kick start mid of next year, as i have heard.

I heard that the upgrade of the Karak Chai and Papadom Palace is behind schedule and it may not open on 12/12/12 :O(

as all buildings are going up at a slow rate as per normal qatar ways, everything takes for ever.
