This has already been reported before  in the local press.

HAMAS does a lot of humanitarian work in Gaza and WestBank.

Whats wrong in helping them.

they are considerered as fighters against the Occupiers. so theres nothing wrong with that.

Qatar likes to be 'friends with everyone', so it wouldn't surprise me at all if this is true.

As the report says, Qatar has done things in the past that annoy the Americans (Al Jazeera, hosting Iranian president) so this isn't so far fetched. They may not be donating money specifically for buying weapons, but they'd be pretty naive not to think that at least some of it isn't being used for that purpose.

And I've heard several people state that one day Qatar's attempts to be everyones friend will backfire on them.

Has no one here ever questioned, how despite the large amounts of Westerners, the US base, and the growing "wanton" lifestyle, Qatar has never been hit with a major terrorist attack? Or Dubai for that matter?

I don't see any harm in that ... when Israel can get latest nuclear weapons  from his firends !!  why not Palestine can have ? ...

Israel is also receiving millions of dollars as donations from US and Western Countries, so is Palestine !!

I highly doubt such a thing. I mean, what, US pays Qatar for base

Qatar gets protection from US, US pays Israel for weapons etc...

Qatar donates to US funds, Qatar donates to Palestinian's Hamas.

It's unlikely.

And we talk of US and Israel being wrong in firing and blasting nations.

What is this... an official political & financial support. This is an open secret and not only of Qatar. But more than 10 muslim nations are doing so since decades.

I think you could be right but who knows?

There again, if the Qatar government doesn't know the money is being re-dircted and it gives them a means of influencing Hamas, maybe it will be reported.
