New Password every time I log in? WHY?

I don't understand why my password NEVER works. Each and everytime I come to this site I end up having to click "lost my password".....I log in with the ONE TIME LOG IN, and enter the password of my choice using all the parameters, click SAVE and next time....SAME THING! WHY?

Also - trying to advertise some things for sale and it let me put up ONE ad, but even with the operation above, it won't let me place an ad for another item. WHY? Some folks place ads here all day long.....and I can't place an ad for two separate items. WHAT am I doing WRONG?? I am open to USER ERROR....I just need to know! LOL
