from november onwards I used to take long walks around the corniche and used to go the Palm tree Island almost everday with my baby, no problem. It even got a bit cold around January!

As for jackets, I got my lo a 3 year old size! Looks huge on her right now but as it's only to be used 10 days a year...

Not much of a winter though. Our eldest wears his jackets in the house during the summer because he hardly gets to use them.

They should have a kids jacket lending scheme here. That way we wouldn't feel bad about spending money on nice children's jackets that hardly ever get used.

Just make sure you bring plenty of liquid when you go out with your baby. In my son's school .... i see lots of mum that have to drag their newborn out because they have to pick up the older kid/s, and they don't have maid at home.

you can expect the weather getting cooler around end of october onwards. Even now i notice the temperature different compare to June/July.

failing of that, once your baby start school ... you will never have time to look back or feel bored. lol...

Is still very hot outside. I can handle the heat, but I'm always scared for my little one. Heat can be very dangerous for babies.

I love winter here! I'm just not an indoors kind of person. How long to go for winter? Two months?

I'm not in doha yet, my husband and i will be moving soon, though.

i see Butterfly. You can go outdoor when the winter come. And i think you just have to get a wheel for yourself (a car) to make you more mobile. My first 2 yrs here was really miserable. I probably got this post natal blues or something like that.

but I miss partying and miss being outdoors most of my day.
