3.5 seems to be average for potty training anywhere osama, so don't worry about being behind. Tell your wife to look up some chat sites online like mumsnet.com or netmums.com or babycenter.com, all of these have advice and chat forums for potty training. She'll find an excellent support group. :)

thanx fatima, but this requires a very strong will from my wife.

in fact this sept I enrolled him in the kindergarten and for my surprise most of the children of same age are still using diapers! I don't know but I feel that the life style here (laziness) is the main reason behind the huge consumption of diapers and late potty training.

Time to start the potty training bro.. My daughter was also around the age of your son when I trained her. The first week might be a bit tough but Insha Allah all will be well and you"ll be saving some cash too.

The last thing I want to do is wash cloth diapers! I really hope you don't see too much of a decline in diapers, my son goes through like 6 a day!

But I must say this, back in SL when I had my daughter seven years back, diapers were a semi luxury, and I could only afford to have her wear one at night. Later on some newer cheaper brands came into the market, so I was able to afford a maximum 2/3 a day only. God have mercy..the time I had washing those cloth diapers!

And yeah I once met this Chinese lady who had her baby, and I mean a really lil baby, potty trained where if only she takes her to a sink and commands her with "wee" would the kid urinate. Cool, huh? No diapers needed.

Jeez. I'm already having a hard enough time finding diapers that are big enough to fit my son....Do you think 9 months is to young to potty train?

Many of the diapers consumed in Qatar are proctor and gamble products and made predominately in the US.
