UK,

Are you saying then that was mentally ill?

He went to court twice on charges of child molestation. That that is an all covering word I know and we all don't know the specifics, but broke the law he seemed to have done. Now you talk about people after his money, well he paid the family off in the first instance with the same money didn’t? If there’s no smoke then you don’t need to put the fire out.

one thing is for sure, people will have differing opinions regarding the King of Pop, both positive and negative... another thing is that, he has already passed away so best just leave him be and let it go...we are not the one who will judge him, only God.

If I had a 30 year old neighbor who built a fun fair in his yard, invited young kids to play with him every day, and regularly slept with them in the same bed overnight, I wouldn't want anything to do with him.

Whether or not he had intercourse with the kids would be immaterial - there is something a bit 'not quite right' about him, and about the parents who were happy enough to let their kids share his bed.

Jackson wass ostracized not (just) because of his clothes, nose or pale skin. He defied social norms through his interactions with young children.

Yeah yeah..

Emotional blabber.

Be honest

Hypothetical situation:

"an alleged Pedophile lives next to you, how will you treat him or how would you expect he will be treated?"

With that in mind, it is strange that MJ is forgiven easily and a regular pedophile (even if falsely accused) would go through hell and be disqualified, if not crucified, by the surrounding environment.

That's where i place question-marks, not disputing the values of his songs for individuals.

for those who cant admit the fact that he was the best there was and will ever be in the music industry, well thats too bad for you !!!

he was not bedophile nor he was deranged, people who see this in michael are only narrow minded people, he wrote some of the best and most touching songs in the world, how can write these songs ??? can a "deranged, or pedophile" write with such passion and love??????? common, the guy was a deppressvie person, something 90% of stars fall into (look at any of the big actors, singers ...) who is not depressive, who did not reply on medecine to live ??? the differance is that michael lived that from the earliest ages !!! he never had a childhood because of his talet and success! something that prooved to be the highest price a person can pay !! on top he always had problems with his dad ! take a moment to analyse all this !!

millions around the world cried, millions around the world wanted to be there yesterday, i wish i was there !! he was my idol, he was my favourite, he was of pure heart and soul ! may he rest in peace now, finaly, away from everyone ! my thoughts go to his children, mother and brothers. He will be remembered, for years and years to come and his legacy will never be matched !

People need to separate the human imperfections of all of us and recognize when genius occurs, And it does. Honor Michael for his professional work. None of us walked in his shoes and none of us know what demons he lived with (as many of us do.)

It was a celebration of his life, a recognition of his quiet charitable contributions to the world (way before it became popular).

Referring to Walt Disney: If you can't say anything nice. Don't say anything at all!

Michael - Finally you are at peace. Thank you for your contributions and making the world a better place. Perhaps all of us will "Look in the Mirror."

PM..there was comment about this approach and the decision was weighed up....it apparently was thought of as Michael was most at home on stage, they'd combine a serive, people speaking about Michael and celebrate his music the way he lived it.

If JFK or Princess Di were not who they were, their funeral may have been tailored differently. Don't think you can compare funerals, it like comparing weddings.

This service celebrated who he was and allowed the fans to ccelebrate too. I think it was appropriate with Michael's background

Maybe that is just their way of coping, but culturally I guess I am more used to religious or even secular memorial services that don't seem like they are staged.
