Medical Lung X-ray & WV processing (Need advise pls!)

Hello everyone!

Need advise please..

I am suposed to be moving in our branch office there in Qatar, so my employer asked me to have a medical exam here in our country. Then, the medical center has given me an UNFIT medical result. They have noted that Iam UNFIT AS PER GCC MEDICAL GUIDELINES. They have seen a linear density on one of my lung, on which the doctor told me that it was of no present clinical significance and just nothing that may harm my health. They still have noted it and given me an UNFIT medical here for they have to follow the GCC guidelines. They said that anyone who will be going to Qatar shall have a flawless lungs, meaning of no scar or nothing to be noted on x-ray though it means nothing. Is it true? Just what I did is to have another medical exam on other clinic, and now I have a FIT TO WORK. My employer was now processing my working visa for me to get there, what I am afraid of now, is that what if I had the medical exam in Qatar when I got there and saw a linear density thing on my lungs. Would this be a ground for me to be sent back home in our country or to be deported?

Also, could you please give me some info on how long does it takes to process a working visa there?

Please help me on this..Thank you so much!

Another solution, business visit visa ka lang. Lagi nga lang uwi. Meron ako narinig Koreo sabi nila papagamot o under medication. Ipasa mo problema sa company mo sila bahala mag solve. Yung kontak nila bahala gumawa paraan.

Dito sa Qatar pabago bago. Meron pinauwi meron din hindi. Yung advise sa iyo ngayon ay pwedeng hindi na uubra bukas!!! Take your chance na lang saka depende kung malakas kapit ng sponsor o company mo. You will not succeeed if you would not take the chance or risk. God bless.

Good for you, that's what I meant by get a 2nd opinion.

The x-ray here is for TB. Either you have it or not.

Can't put a time frame on the issuing of visas. Depends on the diligence of the employer in processing it and following up with immigration.

Good luck.

i just got a second medical exam after the first medical result that i have that I am unfit for qatar employment. The result of the 2nd medica exam that I have is now FIT FOR EMPLOYMENT TO QATAR and nothing found on my x-ray. Inspite of this result that I am FIT, I am still worried what if that linear density comes out again. Was linear density really a big factor on x-rays in qatar?

Guys, how long does it takes to process a working visa there? Thank u!!!

Why don't you get a second opinion where you are?

If the findings will show something or anything in your x-ray you'll be sent home.

Pray that nothing shows up in your x-ray.

thank you so much for your info..but i still hope that someone could still clear it to me whether a linear density situation on a lung will be a ground for me to be unfit to work in qatar if it will be the result on my x-ray medical there. i know that there has been cases that there are people who used to be deported when they got to qatar and found something on their x-ray. I just wanted to know up to what extent on the status or condition on someones x-ray, that one could still stay in Qatar.

thank you!!!

Your medical tests will all be repeated in Qatar before a residence permit is issued. I doubt anyone can predict the outcome, but good luck.
