Medical Commission

My friend went to medical commission for a bcg or ppd sometimes last week and the reddish area was upto almost 1/2 inch...he reported back to MD this morning as he present the result. He was advised to wait for the result after 2days. He was at MD during am but this afternoon, he received a message coming from MD requesting him to report back at nursing station. Is there someone out there who might give an idea of what can probably happen to him as he really get worried about his situation,...But as per his statement, he never felt any symptoms that he is a sick guy. Actually, he's big and he plays so much football...
is a part of continent NAMED ASIA. Period.
normally an infected person as per my research has a difficulties in terms of sustaining his breath...if you're an athletic guy, definitely you will not able to have proper breathing and you can't finish a game if the case is like that...

The Middle East is a historical and political region of Afro-Eurasia with no clear boundaries. The term "Middle East" was popularized around 1900 in the United Kingdom; it has a loose definition traditionally encompassing countries or regions in Western Asia and parts of North Africa. The region is only EAST from the perspective of Europe. To an Indian, it lies to the west; to a Russian, it lies to the south.

Well.. technically, Asia as a continent – yes, Qarar is on the territory of Asian Continent... but to be more specific and to narrow it, Qatar is in the Middle East, and even more specific – in Gulf Area… so when we say Asia in this case we rather mean Far east, countries like China, Korea, Philippines, etc…
Qatar is part of West Asia,
lol qatar is in asia!!
is qatar not part of asia? jst askin... :)

yes, it is common among Asians, thats probably why the GCC countries test for it and quite rightly boot anyone that has it out!Rightly so!

what do you mean, "This is common among asian"???? you mean there are a lot of ppl in qatar who is exposed to tuberculosis?????
do not scare me plzzzzzzzz.... clarify your point....plzzzzzzz
Your friend is exposed to tuberculosis. This is common among asian and those of who received bcg. There is nothing to worry since the test is just to check the exposure. the next move will be the MD will request for chest x-ray to see if there is any presnt cavitation in the lungs. If it is negative, he will just be given anti tuberculosis medication which will be directly monitored by the CDC Unit of HMC-Rumailah either he will take the medicine in front of them or take the medicine to health center for 3-4 months. The whole course of treatment is absolutely free. Tell him not to worry. Unless he is positive to cavitation (chest x-ray) and/or Acid Fast Bacilli (thrugh sputum test)-these are definitive test for TB, then it is a big issue.
my question is, is he a resident or applying for residency?
hope this help.
As in BCG injection??? If so sometimes they can come up very nastilly and the person who gave it probably didn't know how to give a simple injection...
