manual cleaning of toilet

I was listening to this news item on BBC Radio and wanted to share it with all on QL.

The international space station has developed a snag in its toilet and hence it isnt flushing.

So every time an astornaut craps, it takes two astronauts 10 minutes to manually flush out the human refuse IN ZERO GRAVITY!!!!!!!

for the not so strong in physics people zero gravity means the stuff is floating around!!!!!!!!!;;;;)))))))))

So now they are flying a pump up to space to repair the toilet.

Now who says it was fun going to space???

Are the replacement toilet parts, the same as the ones you find in The City Center toilet rooms?
