A Yemeni tribe gave a husband four more months to sleep with his wife or it would have them divorced, as he would have failed to do so in the first eight months of their marriage.
The tribe took the decision after a “reconciliation” meeting with another tribe to which the wife belongs, the Saudi daily 'Sada' said.
It said the two tribes met to resolve the problem caused by the wife’s decision to abandon her husband on the grounds he failed to sleep with her for eight months.
“They asked the wife to be patient and gave the husband a four-month deadline to sleep with her or they will have to split,” the report says
