Looting from Vodafone Qatar

Hi all,

I am just explaining my recent experience with Vodafone postpaid broadband connection in Doha. We have a shared broadband internet connection in my office and it got disconnected on 10th of MAy,2014. When i try to call VF customer service the call was on hold for hours and no one was picking the line. Later on i could connect and some one informed me you are reached the credit limit , thats why we disconnected the line. I got surprised and check my bill, its showing 1025 Qr instaed of the regular 140 Riyal. Raised a complaint and paid 100 Riyal and internet got reconnected. Just after two days its got disconnected again due to the release of next month invoice. I paid again 200 Riyal,to bring down the credit limt. but until 25th May they did not reconnect the line after  many many follow up and complaint over phone and directly to their office. It got disconnected again on 2nd June and until now there is no net connection. on 10th June they informed that, extra bill was a mistake from them . During the bill period there was no service for 23 days until today but i have to pay the full amount for the month. After a lot of struggle i paid the balance amount as per their calculation and disconnected the service.

As a customer what can we do in thsi situation ? any one having a suggestion ? I recommend to every one to dont go with Vodafone services if possible.

She spokes me and offered a compensation of 200 Riyal . She said this will be credited to my another VF number. But nothing happened. Instead, same billing issue started with my other number. When i call customer service today they informed me that they don't have any record of my bills since October 2013 and send an email to care to sort it out. Luckily my number is still active with lot of issues with 4G.

Hi Keeppurathu- I'm with Vodafone Qatar and I would like to personally investigate the issue you experience. I understand that you have disconnected your line but I would like to try to prevent this from ahppening again so if possible could you send me the phone number you used and your name to [email protected] and mention Qatar Living in the subject? Thanks JD

I was having same problem about a month ago...keep on calling and you need min 40-50 min to connect your call to customer care and every time they will ask you same stupid question and every time need to answer them.. no need to worry... that's how they work... but most important thing whatever the time or days loss without internet they will deduct the amount but need to be honest when you are paying the billl.... if you having any techinical problem need min 48-72 hrs to restore your ineternet connection.

System Down... Your service will be activated from minimum 1 hour to 24 hours... this will be the two ready made answers.. Or another alternative reply... go to the particular store where you did the application process... Its my experience.

The staff at VF outlets just there to enjoy the monthly salary not to care any customer..!!

Better never give a chance for disconnection.. once its disconnected your hours will pass like hell.
