Living expenses

Iam Kumar from India. I got opportunity to work in Qatar but i dont know the living expenses. If some one provide the details it will help to me.
House rent ( 2 bed room)
Transportation
School details
Iam planning to shift my family. I have one son 3 yrs old.

Whats the current inflation rate?? I think its more than 20% rite? so if it comes to 6% it should make a big difference. Even I don't think it is practically possible... I was trying to give some hope for the newcomers.
Qatar is becoming very expensive these days, living cost is going up day by day. But the govt has promised to reduce inflation rate by 6% by end of June 2007. Finding an accommodation is very difficult. Most of the flats now available are furnished apartments. The rent for a decent 2 bedroom apartment is around 6500-7500. Riayls. Its better to ask your employer to provide an apartment instead of housing allowance. Where are you going to work? Schooling is also expensive. But there are good Indian schools.
Otherwise everything is fine, Qatar is a nice place to live. Good luck.
