And I thought it was bad enough finding rats under our chairs in the villa we used to occupy! I recall some years back it was clearly published that owning wild animals was against the law here, so I hope the guilty neighbor was duly penalized. Personally I find the whole account quite hair raising!

Animals must be let free as humans are in their natural habitat. Its when we bond them, the problems start. By the way, answering to painther, painther what you saw in cornice might be a cat. Not a tiger or panther.:-)

Yesterday i was sitting on my portable chair at Bida Park and watching the sun set, suddenly i saw something under my chair. To my surprise it was a RC car...:(

I didn't say anywhere that one should tame such wild animals at home...They are meant to be either in the zoo or in the forest...But yes, if i do get the chance to see or play with the cubs, i won't miss the chance....:D

Heard this kind of news even in the past...It is really scary..But cubs are cute and harmless...One can play with them...:))) I wish if i could see any such CUBS in the street, i will make my kid to play...:D

It is funny when people think of "wild" their imagination automated think of lions, tigers, bear, wolves etc thing is just because an animal like a tiger is more dangerous than a dog, bird or a cat does not make it more/less illegal/wrong of an animal to be confined in a cage than the latter.

Police is purely 'law enforcement' and nothing else. They are there to ensure that the laws are followed by all....but in this case how would they teach the law to the animal? or are they even trained to capture and restrain an animal without causing harm? I don't know why people call the police for everything outside the law??? I have heard of so many people calling the police to ask for directions coz they couldn't find landmark mall.

Was at the Al Samariya Stables on Friday afternoon for the open day. Sheikh Faisal Al Thani was walking around with his pet Cheetah, which the visitors where allowed to pet, including me :)

It is becoming a normal practice in Qatar that the wealthy Qatris are keeping these big cats as pets.
