Lion under the Chair !

Lion under the Chair !

Rizks
By Rizks

Man finds lion under his chair. A Qatari man was shocked to find a lion cub under his chair in a tent inside his house at Al Aziziya, local daily Al-Arab has reported.
He immediately contacted the police who rushed to the house and “handled the situation”, the daily said. The lion cub apparently belonged to a neighbour, according
to the report. The lion’s presence was discovered when the man sat on the chair after returning home from work and “realised that something was wrong”, said the
report.

Go and have a strong Karak Chai with a mix of Red Bull.

Our dear Fluffy is worried about Tigers, NOT Lions - Everyone knows that all you need to control a Lion is a chair and a whip!

and the tiger like a sissy will turn his back at you and run away ? :( wat a silly idea britey ! :(

How about when you see a tiger, just roar at the Tiger back with your claws wide open and the tiger will smile at you and go away ? :)

Get yourself a loud whistle. If you see a tiger than just blow hard and shout "Tiger, Tiger"

And I thought it was bad enough finding rats under our chairs in the villa we used to occupy! I recall some years back it was clearly published that owning wild animals was against the law here, so I hope the guilty neighbor was duly penalized. Personally I find the whole account quite hair raising!

Rizks: Perhaps this guy has a Hyena which could be adopted by you. Why not visit his farmhouse

By nomerci• 4 Jun 2013 14:19

Besides, the wild animals in captivity ( as in pets )you see here, are mostly drugged so they stay calm.

Animals must be let free as humans are in their natural habitat. Its when we bond them, the problems start. By the way, answering to painther, painther what you saw in cornice might be a cat. Not a tiger or panther.:-)

Kareena74

I know so many locals who have wild animals as pets.. It is common this part of the world..

In fact someone told me about a guy whose pet cheetah or something bit his hand and then he shot him.

By MarcoNandoz-01• 3 Jun 2013 10:51
MarcoNandoz-01

It is funny when people think of "wild" their imagination automated think of lions, tigers, bear, wolves etc thing is just because an animal like a tiger is more dangerous than a dog, bird or a cat does not make it more/less illegal/wrong of an animal to be confined in a cage than the latter.

By Rizks• 3 Jun 2013 10:43
Rizks

coz more then public, police knows the locations/ directions of these malls....:)

By themorpheous• 3 Jun 2013 10:42
themorpheous

Police is purely 'law enforcement' and nothing else. They are there to ensure that the laws are followed by all....but in this case how would they teach the law to the animal? or are they even trained to capture and restrain an animal without causing harm? I don't know why people call the police for everything outside the law??? I have heard of so many people calling the police to ask for directions coz they couldn't find landmark mall.

By Rizks• 3 Jun 2013 10:40

then the question is where was the cubs mother ? :(

By britexpat• 3 Jun 2013 10:40

Marco the hype is an adult Tiger can kill you in a couple of seconds!

They maybe living in peoples homes but they are not domesticated!

Just in the same way as if you get a wolf and keep it as a pet it is not the same as having a dog!

Such animals are ILLEGAL in Qatar but this is just another example of how the laws don't apply to some people!
