Lets talk about Human Right
I am sure many of us have noticed a human right violation against the expatriate workers working building the booming economy of Qatar. There is a lot to be done on this and it seams the government is very keen about improving the human right condition of the country. However, I believe this will only happen by a behavioural change of the people who is resposible for thjis. Every one should be treated equally and fairly regardless of Natinality, working class, religion, and sex. What do you suggest on the current human right condition and the effort of the government to improve human right in The State of Qatar?
I would like to post two links for your reference.

2010 000000 percent human rights violation.....
Basic human rights of people around the world are being violated ... and that the gulf states. unfortunately, in the past few years US had shown many dictators and governments how to violate human right while citing international laws and agreements. And many are learning fast.
As for Qatar, the government has to do a lot more to enforce mainly labor/employment rights. The most abused group would be labor workers who are left in the mercy of a local sponsor. They work for 12 hours and more, high level of industrial accidents due to lack of health and safety standards (300 Nepalese workers dead in a year) and lack of a labor office to complain to.
The government would well to educate business owners that human right violations will be dealt with severely (and jail some violators for a start) and educate locals and expats a like on health and safety. Further to educate laborers to report if there rights is being violated.
These are very difficult changes and usually are made in the time of crises. Now, the economy is booming so I’m not very optimistic.
Easy
A wonderful iniciative, gulf countries desperately need Human Right education, I hope it will happen.
The situation is improving in Qatar, there's much more awareness and the media is playing an important role. Before all these stories were "censored", now the abuse is being reported. I would encourage the newspapers to "name and shame" companies that violate human rights and individual offenders, so there's a bad record against them, and embassies and the general public can be aware.
