Last Week in Doha

Hi Everyone
This is my last week in Doha, Next weekend I will be flying back to the UK on a one way ticket,
Although I wont be sad to leave it will seem strange not coming back to the place that has been home for the last 18 months,
Do you have any suggestions on things i should do in my last week to say farewell to this dusty, hot slightly bizzarre place,
my only suggestion is if you could rebook your ticket and leave today instead of next week do it. good luck
I dont want to come back I am leaving of my own free will,
Panda drugs are bad for you just like Doha is bad for me
Keep Smiling :-) you never know who is looking
Hope you have a nice week...
This one-way-ticket is a reality for each of us expats.....one day or the other it will come looking for us.....some might be prepared some might not be....
Ok...you can come back after 2 yrs....things are not so bad after all :)....
don't do anything. I'm sure you'll come back. doha is like a drug!
I will miss my friends and being able to fill my car with petrol for less than 10 uk pounds and my 8ft wide bed,
Its back home to my family 60 pound to fill the car and a 4ft6 double,
Bacon sandwiches, clean fresh air, green fields and lovely cool rain
Thanks to everyone for your input and advice over the last 18 months
I will still drop in now and again to see whats happening here
TTFN (TA TA FOR NOW)
Keep Smiling :-) you never know who is looking
Go around Doha and take pictures of any sight that attracts you to show friends and loved ones. Visit also the Qatar Islamic Museum so you'll have a compilation of their rich culture and tradition for remembrance sake.
dress provocatively and wear a big arse crucifix around your neck.
visit souq and enjoy the arabic tradition for the last time visit cornicle near to the pearl and enjoy the air
Go and take pictures of everything you can remember seeing, 'cos the chances are, if you should come back, it will all be different again!
