Language schools

I'd like to ask if there are any good language schools in Qatar? I took French in college, but due to lack of practice, i've forgotten most of it, and now I'd like to learn once again. Also, I'd like to learn Arabic, Japanese, Mandarin, and maybe Spanish or Italian. Can you guys recommend a school where I can learn these? I want to be multilingual.

Berlitz is very expensive and I'm not sure how successful as they don't teach any grammar at all. For myself, I think it's a complete waste of time and money. 1 lessons should cost at least 150 qr if not more, private lessons far more than that. A child might be able to learn the language that way but an adult never...
I just read your reply . . . i honestly did not mean to make fun that you had the intention to learn many languages . ... it was just an "interesting positive impression."
I am a native Arabic, but I have experience in tutoring the language. I speak, read and write English fluently, but not to teach English, even thought I am very good in grammer . . .
I speak other two languages, but not enough at all to tutor them or to offer lessons to learn them. When/if interested, you can reply or email me if/when you want . . . as long I am alive, I should respond . . .
all the best and good luck on your plans . . ..
cheeers,
well, i don't think i mentioned wanting to learn all those languages at the same time, that's biting more than i can chew. all i said was i wanted to learn them.
anyway, thank you for your offer and i will consider that as well when I finally decide when to start. are there other languages that you can teach apart from arabic?
It is amazing how many languages you would like to learn at the sametime . . . that is interesting . . . well. . i wish you the best of luck to find a place or center that meet your demands for Arabic . . . but to add a little note . . . beside my normal work, I do tutor Arabic for non-native Arabic speaker . . i have experience in this and I did it to diverse people from different backgrounds in America . . . if you are interested, you can leave me a note . . . I can arrange personal (one-to-one) or you have another friend or two or three max, we can set up a group. . . The price ranged between QR80 to QR110 per hour, which depends one the arrangments . .. i check this webstie regularly and you can comment if you have something to say . . .
Regards and all best .. .
Anyone know about the prices at Berlitz? How are classes divided? Basically what I'd like is an estimate of a full academic year's worth of language courses (e.g. 1 year of intermediate).
Arabic is straightforward if you just want to converse. If you have the aptitude for picking up foreign words and phrases then you can do it.
The grammar is a different matter. Very complex.
thanks, i'll check on that too, it's good to hav options.
thanks so much, I'll go and check them out. I've been meaning to re-learn (if that's even a word) my foreign languages. again, thanks for the info.

Angel face it just so happened that I went to Berlitz yesterday, as Fish and I want to study Spanish :P It seemed alright to me. They have Italian and Arabic as well as French and few other languages. Check them out. 455 05 06. They are on the D Ring road opposite Kahrama, not far from the Mall.
