Keyboarding Skills

Keyboarding is the most useful skill I learned in school (Let's stick to "hard skills" and not get into soft-skills like co-operation and respect and the like.) Let's also skip the basics of reading and writing. Who agrees or disagrees.

But a much more useful skill would be being able to go to sleep!  Aaaagh!

Really? Never counts?  Hmmm, I have colleagues who type 120 words a minute, just the sheer speed with which he can enter text saves him soooo much time at work for other useful activities, like surfing QL or watching Youtube.  To me, that makes it a tremendously useful skill.

I agree about common sense, but we're not talking unmeasurable soft-skills.  Personally, in my daily-life, I find keyboarding a much more useful skill than algebra, chemistry, etc.

Common sense would be a better skill than typing mind you

I disagree... I learnt a lot of other things in school which are much more important.
