Kahramaa bill...

Hi all,
Trying to pay be Kahramaa bill online. However, when hsbc page says account number needed, it doesn't seem to accept the customer number. Hmmmm. Any other ideas of what it could be that I need to use?
How many digits is the account number?

When you are registering for Kahramaa Electricity Bill payment at HSBC online, you need to use the electricity number. Total number of digits should be 15. Start with zeros (may be eight zeros) then the electricity number and end with one zero.
Below is HSBC instruction.
KAHRA-MAA(E&W): The number is taken from the information in the top-left corner of your
Kahra-maa bill. To register, use the numbers that appear in the second box, followed by a zero. If the total
digits are less than 15-digits, please insert zeros in front of the numbers to make it 15-digits long.
Alphabattle - You're luckly, (I received my bill for January 2008) but not my Feb 2008 bill so I don't know what to do as my electricity # does'nt exist in their database. Maybe my consumption of water & elec has been waived by Kahraama - free for life......CHEERS.

Cheers Marines 75 - sounds like we've got the same issue. Problem is that the elec #, water # and customer # on my bill aren't accepted! Oh well, guess I'll pay it an old fashioned way.
Of course I know my bank account number everyone else!
I am sure your they want your electricity # and not your account number or maybe they are asking your bank account # to login. This happen to me also, when I tried to pay kahraama bill online, a message appears "Electricity Number does'nt exist" so I sent them an inquiry by email but up to now no response from their customer service.

try contacting hsbc customer service, they should be able to give you a helping hand :)

either it is your account no. to be debitted or your connection no.
you will need the number in your card plus the secret 3 digit number in the back..
or better pay in cash..
you are paying through ur account which is with HSBC and through their network and you dont know whats your account number. gmm grab your cheque book and see the account number there below your name. or above ur name.
