If you are qualified to give sponsorship on your brother for family visit visa, it's cheaper.

just follow what princessandi said on how to acquire visa. after gaining the visa.

give your brother all the supporting documents you have if it's family visit visa. not just the affadavit of support. include your NSO BC to establish your relationship with him. your contract showing your salary to establish that you can support him, QAR_10,000.00 is minimum salary I guess. and OEC to prove that you're really working here in Doha.

in case of tourist visa, well it's less hassle i guess. just prepare big sum of money for it, it's kinda bit expensive.

Never heard of this... Maybe new money making policy... But you can get travel insurance in almost all insurance companies at minimal cost.

after they processed this visa stamping, they said that they are looking for travel insurance in the immigration. I don't know what is this travel insurance, is it for me or for my brother?
