Hi , am here to ask that what is going on in Doha , Asian Games is ahead and just few months are left but now they have closed the midmac and Gharafa fly over also, well no charm left for drivers in doha, what kind of ideas these people have no proper program or plan, all we have to see constructions of roads ,traffic blow ,daily we are getting sick of this. The at least have to prepare everything at least before 2 months of starting the games, could they make it or not.

We all hope same , but its true that offering best at last only leads to many problems, as it happened in Gharafa fly over once, so far the gain in six years is nothing , speed is nothing and result is just 45 % ,we cant say what they did so far , but can say what they did busted it again and again , time is running in full swing and seem these games will happen only by boosting the work in double speed ,the labour on other side will be in pressurized from careless authorities which only knows to order but dont know how there labours work ,infact what they are doing were never capable of but all they doing for the Rise of their Honour only.More over Doha cant become like New York or Dubai, even after all this.

some of the roads are planned to be done by 2006 november and some are planned to be done by 2008 ... the main roads that are needed for the asian games will be done ..otherwise they will be in construction

the place is in continus development ... and its not lack of vision but some mistakes were done by keeping the work for the last minute and not completing them early ...

i really hope everything goes well and the asian games happen in Doha

The roadworks are actually part of a 10-year plan which unfortunately (bad planning? lack of vision?) started a few years ago and which coincides with the Games. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME THING.

All the developement going on in Qatar is actually because of Asian games, allmost all major roads routs and links are under construction ,and there is no pleasure in driving , roads are blocked and alternive roads are causing huge traffic rush every where , it is because of asian games other wise never happened before like this in such way. They have to prepare everything at least before two months of starting the games, otherwise i think they will lose chance to organize and host the asian games, experts are requesting authorities to limit the work and the labour working hours should be skipped from 900 to 1600hrs but , who cares they have a fobia of Asian games which they were never capable of but on the bases of wealth they got the chance, and more over that they started acting seriously when just a very little time is left ,other wise they were busy in building construction in cornich area the most important road , Airport road is busted but VIP rout is still in good shape , it means it was build in perfact standards at its time but all others routs are busted really , for this Asian games lots of people in Qatar suffered many shocks no need to discuss again and again , in short salary deduction , rise of house and business rents , rise of common commidates prize ,so in short these games are based on such actions bye them , so strange that we think is this is the way to organize the games by let public suffer from there living standards and their rights.I never heared of games like this , if it will then it will be unique type of games , Korea ,japan china they didnt act like Qatar, all true that here just money talks and rights can be easily grabed by Authorities.

Am really worried about what will happend next , well its true all people here are getting surprises since five years , now a days asian games tommorow may b a sub way construction or world olympic games , oh God! even expatriats living here or born here since 25 years and capable to speak arabic are now asked to apply for Qatari passport , and for that they have to pay QR\500 , oh God ! another trap , just imagine how many people will apply and how few only will get the Qatari Nationality ,this is out of limit. Those who are recently arriving in doha no matter for what purpose are saying " where we are now is this is mars or what" .
