Super 7, my iPod changed my life ;) Never had to turn on the radio in the car again...and you can download podcasts too....
Hi Joe. Any way you could use your influence to try and stop QBS being the worst radio station in the world?
For starters could you please incapacitate or otherwise prevent Bernie Lyons from ever going near a microphone again. Persuade him that no one wants to here 40 year old songs that weren't even popular 40 years ago on the "Breakfast Show".
Inform him that learning to read English would be a great start for any professional new reader. I know he's Irish but his first language is still English and he reads like a child.
Tell Shery Magdi and her soft tunes that we don't want to listen to her soft tunes and her soft soothing voice. Juts play popular music.
Tell that woman who does album attack that we do not want to hear her read passages out of a book in between each song. PLay music by all means but do not read verbatim from a book/magazine. If you must add some content then precis it and pick out some punchey interesting facts.
When the news is read then summarise it. DOn't just read the news report as it comes. Pick out key interesting facts.
Also please please spare us London line with the awful Phil Jay. Who on earth wants to listen to an interview done by a second rate amateur broadcaster with the engineer of a working steam water pump in SE England. (That was the last of his shows I had to endure before my iPod arrived and I was spared the misery of QBS once and for all)
Tell the bosses to listen to the Dubai stations or UK stations on the internet. I recommend radion 1 and virgin 1215am. To gain some idea of what is wrong with QBS
