IQB or Standard Chartered?

 Doha bank.. god you cant go near a doha bank atm on a friday or saturday, again, another haven for blue collared workers.

dont say anything abt Doha bank Grrrrr

Standard chartered is not what it used to be.. its a haven for blue collared workers now, i cant comprehend their shift in focus. 

If salary transfer is your option, there was an ad in the paper about commerical bank offering a free gift, and some other freebies immediately on transferring your salary to them. 

But back to where i started, its sad to see HSBC and Standard Chartered losing out on their core competencies and catering to lower end of the customer segments.

standard chartered is the best option .... if u need any further info.ask without any hesitation

Doha Bank - awful dreadful

IBQ- so far so good

QNB - fine except the witch in The Mall branch

HSBC - took a picture of their corniche branch getting demolished... best answer for them.

IBQ apply higher charges

I had a strange experience here. I am from India, and came here one month back. I checked all banks out here,and found Commercial bank is offering an account in India with a famous bank, so I can transfer my savings to Indian bank. They said it will be opened in 3 days after the CB account gets activated. I was on cloud nine and went ahead opening an account. Finally they asked me to produce 6 months of statement of Commercial bank. They sould have told this when I was opening that account, I would have searched for another best bank which can offer better facilities. I am slowly getting the pulse of Doha.

transfer my bank account to IBQ.. let's see what they will offer... 

Chupa..I just recently closed an account with Doha bank.. and they still send me these messeges IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!!!!I just do not like them..sorry...

KH... lol... one bank is not enough for me anymore.. they dont have enough space for all my income... i need an extra bank now..lol...

any problems with them... I like the service I get and the banks are hardly ever full.

For banking and loans IBQ, for investments i would say Standard Chartered.
