I know your car, a friend of mine has the same car but 93 model, sporty and massive sound system installed, I don't know how you will leave that car, it's 4WD.

I have got Maxima 96,I like it very much.

Who confirm that for you? local authorities there, or from poeple?

Why they are not allowing it?

I heard different sayings from people, that if it's your personal car, you can take it. Not sure yet, but I need to confirm.

I can't see why we can't take our own car.

Maybe we can take our own cars.

Where is your car registered?

I have confirmed through my contacts in qatar that government does not allow you to import car older then 5 years.

Exception is made for diplomats and United Nations personnels.

I do not know about classic cars.

I drive a 1997 model Subaru Imprezza... I love this car I have put a massive sound system in it, engine is solid, car is nicely pimped up.. tough luck I won't be able to move it to Qatar.

What have you got ?

Do you mean quality, expensive, or classic cars? But how do they determine that?

I don't think it is a new law it has existed for a number of years (certainly pre-1990).

I don't know if there is a way round it. If it's vintage it may be possible but I'm not sure what the process would be to import it.
