For IKEA Lovers...:((
Seems the lovers have to wait a bit more longer...:((
The January 30 opening of Qatar’s first Ikea store, part of the QR6bn Doha Festival City’s first phase, has been postponed, Gulf Times has learnt. Workers were seen yesterday wrapping up the bright yellow Ikea signs placed all around the navy blue colour building, which is in the final stages of completion. The 32,000sqm store of Ikea, the world’s leading home furnishing company from Sweden, is slated to have about 1,300 car parks and more than 540 seats for its restaurant. Located beside Al Shamal Road and just 20 minutes from Doha International Airport, Doha Festival City is owned and developed by Bawabat al-Shamal Real Estate Company.

HGL they also do a nice Norwegian Salmon Fish..:)
UK...looks like even if they had opened today I cannot taste those meatballs...thought meatballs was just a generic name and could get in something other than beef and pork, which I don't eat...:((
LOL.... I was waiting for it to open to get a bedroom set... might as well go for home center now..!!!!
HGL the meatballs here are not the same as they don't have pork in them, but still they are a good imitation of the real ones made out of Beef.
Better late than Never.
I was so looking forward to tasting the much talked about meatballs with strawberry jam and fries...:(
Qadar Allah...that is disheartening news. Wonder what went wrong. Was so looking forward to the grand opening. Guess we'll just have to wait and watch then!
