I never said it has been used as a hypothesis, it is used to talk about a hypothetical situation. You do know the difference right?

By anonymous• 27 Dec 2010 22:58

Love it. Now please start teaching me English lol...oh by the way; IF cannot be used as a hypothesis, it is conjecture.

Carry on!

What a dumb idea..

Anyone who thinks he/she is overweight will never wear anything like this advertising his/her waist size.

A product destined to fail.

>>>What you said was neither ironic nor sardonic. You did think this was true lol

The IF you missed lol

Whitekynte I do hope you can teach me English, it will be an interesting journey. Do carry on.

Oh and look normerci thought the same as you; as in you both thought it true lol.

I am so looking forward to Whiteknyte teaching me English. Please, please let him read up on the semantics and the pragmatic use of the English language.

What fun!

belts like these would only sell if the numbers could be adjusted as per the wishes of the user..

like, for a lady it should always around 65 cm..

By nomerci• 27 Dec 2010 20:53
nomerci

whyte, agree...pretty stupid idea. Plus, fat people are paranoid enough about weight...do they really want to be reminded while scarfing down a big Mac with a large portion of fries??? lol

And slim people won't wear it to keep track because it is dead ugly. so...EPIC fail!

By anonymous• 27 Dec 2010 20:49

Isobel read the OP, it says If so we are discussing a hypothetical situation.

I can't believe I have to explain English language to a so called Brit.

Whiteknyte please tell me you are attemping to be funny? It is a joke. These belts don't exist.

Whose brain cell are you sharing today?

Tink, it was indeed a very strange sight...a stomach that looks like it is parted in the middle....both parts hanging down below the crotch....that seriously screams to be cut of by a plastic surgeon....

I saw a woman at Villaggio today who had what looked like two wobbly butt cheeks as a stomach....very odd!
