I know my wife

In a busy morning and at about 8:30 am an 80 years old man came into the clinic to remove stitches from his hand, and he mentioned that he is in a hurry cause he has another appointment at 9 am, I started removing the stitches and cleaning the wound and
asked: Is it another doctor whom you will see at 9:00?
He answered: No, I’m going to the senior’s care house to take the breakfast with my wife
So I asked again: and why is she there?
He answered: She had the Alzheimer Disease (Memory Loss)
I asked: Do you think she will be worried if you are a bit late
He said: she doesn’t even recognize me since five years
Surprisingly I said: and you still take the breakfast with her everyday since five years
The old man smiled and said: she doesn’t know me but I know her.
So I had to hide my tears till he left.
This is the kind of love we miss nowadays.

That was very touching.

And reminds me how much many of us women (myself included) do not appreciate our husbands. Just like this lady we often do not understand and recognize his actions of love.

ahmad_abuanas..sometimes working in a hospital can be very depressing. But when you think you can save a life it makes your day.

It reminded me of the film IRIS of Kate Winslet. She grows old & looses her memory but the guy sticks with her. I never seen the whole film its so depressing.

Many people feel inadequate about the definition of love.

is like a diamond. You can view it from many diferent directions,

and there is no right or worng way of defining it. There is only the way you feel about love.

"Love is the warm feeling that you get toward somebody who meets your neurotic needs.." Very few people have learned that love is something that should be centered within you, and that the basis for loving others is the love you have for yourself.

Hats Off to old man,he is not distracted with worldly desires and forgotten his loved one and he is doing his responsbility as good loving husband.

Just for a minuit if we get in to his shoes and think, we will know where we stand how we are blessed compared to him.

Its so unofrtunate some dear members make a cheap coments it shows their mental stability and should we have such inhuman members or say Kalli Valli for their coments.
