When you type in the password on the virtual keyboard, you have to scroll way down to the bottom of the page to find the keyboard. Otherwise the site works exactly as well as with a PC.
I complained to their IT support when they changed it to the new system, and they said 'you need to get a PC to use it'. Funny, I thought it was their role to serve me, not the other way round.
I have to say, I really hesitate to post this information on here since my perception of HSBC is so rock bottom that I actually think they would adjust the website so that it doesn't work on opera, now that someone has found a way to use it. Considering that a bank is meant to be an organisation you have trust in, let's just say our relationship has broken down terribly and there isn't much trust on my part.
i've had similar problem on my HSBC internet banking. just go to HSBC bank and ask them to reset your internet banking password. come back after a week and they will give you a paper with your new password. you can change your password on the bank because they have PC's there. 50QR charge for the password reset. hope this helps.

For further assistance, call us on 441 1550 (within the State of Qatar) or +974 441 1550(outside the State of Qatar) quoting reference: Ref. P70
The hsbc net is working fine. May be you dont know the steps of first time log-in. Or simply visit the site, go to the contact us menu and fill in your details and problems of log-in. The IT support will contact you.

They suck!!! I use Firefox on Linux to access QNB.
