I need a Nanny to look after a newborn baby. 5 days a week 0630-1330.

What would be a reasonable salary for this service?

I can't believe it...the nanny's pay is like that? I heard a kadama here is receiving only QR800-900 is this really true?

ya maybe 2000 is ok for a real proffesional nanny. 600 for a fake maid pretending to be a nanny.

that rate was 2 years back ..the present rate goes from 1500 to 2500/-

Qatar foundation staff pay 2500/- for 5 days a week 8 hrs per day

If you can't change your fate, change your attitude.

True, it's around 3000/month for 5 days a week...you can have a live-in...for 1500 a month or less. Maybe 20/hr is a bit high. Maybe if she watches the baby, cleans the house and makes dinner:)

Am afraid you have to pay a fortune.

Assuming 20/hour, you will have to pay 4000+. Provided you can find a professional nanny and not a housemaid who pretends to be a nanny.

Good luck.
