Try beverly hills, or alfradan gardens, rivara complex, they are wow!!!!
Glad you are getting use to the crazy roundabouts....lol it will be about 20 years before all the round abouts have organization with traffic lights lol. Good luck.
Go see katara it is the name given to the cultural village in Qatar, it is located between Doha's West Bay and the pearl. There is a nice islamic art museum that is not about muslims, its about art. Or for fun in the water Qatar now has a aqua park.
Yeah, been driving around all day. I hate roundabouts lol. Drove by the QDC (that wasn't the plan, but ironically the first place we saw), then walked around Villagio, then drove past Education City, and a few other places. We might drive around the Bay tomorrow. I'm trying to organize some work, etc, so everything is kind of touch and go.
What else is worth seeing? What are the really nice living complexes here? We drove past Beverly Hills Gardens, which looked really nice.
Welcome Ryan, have a nice stay with ur wife, and enjoy getting lost ;) thats what i like when going to a new country, plus to surfing through google maps all the time especially when trying to go to a specific destination. I am here for 1 month now, but been here frequently, so not my first.

Thank you for the warm welcome, everybody. It's been a great first few days (aside from the fact we can't get to sleep until 3 am). Sounds like most people love living here, which is reassuring. ;)

Plus I had a 4 hour nap in the evening :)
Am sure you'll be pretty good after 6 months; you have landed at the start of the good season.
I have an excuse for not sleeping at 2 in the morning: jet lag
What's your excuse?
