How to express Anger?

By gypsy gal

Should we SUPPRESS it or should we program our mind to train it to use that extra energy created to do something more creative?

My experience and feeling is that even if somebody provokes you zillion times, if you knew deep down in your heart, that ANGER is like opening the lid of a live volcano, you will for sure think several times.

While you are burning, in reality, you are burning in the fire of repentance. We all feel very foolish once the anger has finally flown away, drained out. The AFTERMATH of anger is the assessment of loss, the calculation of damage we have done to ourselves.

In all this process, you will notice that, the person who provoked you is NEVER there to suffer a part of what you suffered.

DO NOT have a head on collision with these people who make you upset. JUST do not get in their way. Take another route. DONT TELL ME there are not many alternate routes always. Find them out. There is always a way out.....

WE ARE THE ONLY victims of our own anger. Change yourself and save yourself.

What makes you angry? I don’t get angry easily….I don’t know why.

When someone hurt one of my significant others. But when I am angry (I'm not a violent person either), I just listen to my METALLICA collection or HINDER (actually rock music) then get to chat it out.

"In life one big and crucial responsibility is not to let your Anger, Resentment or Disgust DARKEN YOU!"

Above is one memorable line I cannot forget from watching ALIAS!

Cheers!

I'm on my way out, sorry.

But I was told my a good teacher of mine;

It is ok to be angry, but KNOW that you are angry and manage it.

Visualise the worst person you know and try not to be like them.

Got to go, bye.

It dun't really matter.

its much better not to lose temper, jus if you can breathe in and breathe out slowly for 4-5 times half of your temper comes down

from the person. Count to ten as if I'm doing breathing exercises. because if ever i lose my patience, I may just hit the person straight to the face jsut like that. Honestly, I'm totally a different person when I'm angry.

As they say, dont make a quiet person angry. She/He will either give a big punch on their face, crush them till they bleed... joke joke joke...that only happens in the mind. Still shopping, taking a long walk and prayer and more joke joke joke help me release the GRRRRR feeling.

**Work like you dont need the money, love like you've never been hurt and dance like no one is watching**

get the person who made me angry focused between my thumb and forefinger. I then pretend i am crushing their head. I also repaet the mantra whilst doing this. "I am crushing your head,I am crushing your head".

quite easily! especially when driving out here lol!!! And when things dont go MY way! very bad i know!

Im working on trying to control my anger and realize that anger is pointless and that if things make me angry then i should use that to teach me patience and tolerance.

its so hard to do at times, i hate my temper but im trying so hard to lose it i try and make myself laugh when im angry like tell myself i am a stressy moo!! sometimes that works, or i count to ten or chant to myself!
