Its a fact that 12k Qlers came from different cultures, some are well socialized and some are not. Unfortunate for this guy, he doesn't know the ethics of making friends or shall i say socializing.

The main purpose of this site is to guide people about living in Qatar. And most members share their precious time in answering a never ending(sometimes repeatable) questions. We're trying to assist newbies, we're trying to help even in a simple ways we could. This guy need us to help guide him how to socialize & make friends, he did 1 mistake! AND we should not push him to make another 1 by throwing nasty swearing words, that could lead us to a heated arguments. My opinion;)

It's not like it's that complicated to meet one of the lovely ladies of QL. I mean, participate in conversations for 2 weeks (try not to look psychotic) join the social group, go to a meeting. Badda Boom Badda Bing, you've met ladies from QL. If you are not a total psychotic spazoid, you should then be able to PM us normally and become friends.

Is it just me or has the last couple of days of conversation been about PMing ladies. One wonders whatever happened to an invitation for a nice cuppa coffee. My wife's just been reading over my shoulder and thinks it all seems a little crazy.

But I do agree with what the ladies have to say. Men I think you should join the conversation. A conversation by definition is an exchange of sentiments, observations, opinions, or ideas between people. And the more the merrier I always say. So I think if you want to make friends you've got to gain someones trust first and the way to do that isn't by using this forum as a dating service.

That being said I think we should just ignore the span and the trolls that seem to be a part of the digital world today. I don't think the rudeness really works against some people and in some cases just gives them more initiative.

I have just read my way through this thread and it just goes to show that people can deal with things without them getting really nasty. You all left this guy in no doubt about his behaviour and then moved on. Apple,the most balanced person in the world, you are a star.
