Hottest summer day today

Today will be one of the hottest days of this summer in Qatar with the temperature hitting 48C, the weather office has forecast. While temperatures continue to hover at scorching levels, the lack of humidity has increased the “perceived temperature”, it said. According to Abdullah al-Mannai, head of the forecast and analysis section at the Meteorological Office, hot winds coming from the southwest of the region are responsible for the current hot spell. While maximum temperatures have hovered at around 45-46C, dry conditions give the impression that actual temperatures are two to three degrees higher. Humidity has been as low as 30% in recent days, compared with a maximum of 80-95% expected in August. Al-Mannai said that this year’s temperatures had not broken any records. Yesterday was a comparatively hotter day this summer with the Met Office recording a maximum temperature of 47C.

if the temperature is beyond the limit you could get people to work, no one will work here. Development will halt. So the temperature is always maintained below the maximum threshold to make sure the work is continued and no one complains. You car does not know this rule, so it is showing what it reads...That's all I can say.. guess you understand my science... :-)No offence to anyone..
