Hidden Charges in Barwa City???

Hello everybody,

We are planning to move to Barwa City but now I hear that there are some hidden charges for A.c and heater every month which is not mentioned clearly in the tenancy contract. Please I would like to know whether there is any truth in this. Are there any barwa city tenants out here who can shed some light on this. And pls do share your experience (good and bad) inside the city.

My experience at Barwa City is really great until now, the facilities are not all operational yet but a school is up and running, streets are quite and spacious. Its safe for kids to play around. Traffic is not a drawback since there are ways around the traffic jams if you know the tricks :) What it's missing is a grocery store for the time being until the rest of the facilities are completed which as per Barwa (Waseef) will be operational by December. Please let me know if you need more info.

Hi LadyBird,

I am not sure if i'm a bit late or not but I just read your query now. I live in Barwa City @ The Park Residences (TPR) which is the furnished apartments over there. First of all regarding the hidden charges, TPR contract and rental includes everything except the Kahramaa (Electricity and Water) which is costing me around 100 QAR per month although we are really active on electricity and water. I do recommend going for TPR if you are looking for a furnished apartment especially that you will be the first tenant to use the furniture....
