HELP - Traffic Violation Inquiry
Hello all!!!
I want to ask something about Online Inquiry of Traffic Violation.
Yesterday i started to get confused, My car has 5 digits but once i typed this 5 digits it will change into 6 digits with "zero" at the start. And it will show 2 violation.
I made this inquiry under "PRIVATE VEHICLE" and again it confused me coz there's "PRIVATE TRANSPORTATION"
If i select "PRIVATE TRANSPORTATION" again my 5 digits car plate number will change to 6, with "zero" at the start.
But under "PRIVATE TRANSPORTATION" there's no violation record.
I tried to have inquiry using QID and it reveals "NO VIOLATION"
Please to all QL's help me to solve this problem.
I tried to call Traffic Dept. but unfortunately they dont have english speaking person that i can talk to.

I want to buy a car from a rent a car company to my company. before I am transferring the ownership by hand . my PRO is going a he is doing manually.but now the selling company said that now system changed for ownership transfer from company to company that firstly selling company PRO sending sms to muroor through metrash and after getting the approval he can collect the new ownership (mulkiyya). so I want to
know the updated system...is there in muroor any new system as they are saying like ...so please help me dears

Your car is private vehicle. Pick ups and small personal vans are coming under private transportation. However if you have violation there will be black points so to settle the payment you should visit the Traffic Department as you will not be able to settle a fine with black points through MOI website.
Recently I was fined for parking. Normally I never park in that area as I was sure that they are always checking that area. One night I reached there after 9:00pm and I could not find any parking so I parked in that area and unfortunately for me I got a ticket that night at 9.39pm for 500 riyals with 3 black points.
Adding a Zero at the front would not change the number only make it 6 digits for standard analysis, I expect if you had number plate 125 it would change it to 000125 so the database is comparing standard data.
Your ID is unlikely to have and violations, because anyone can drive any car, the violation could be your wife, your workmate the garage who knows, unless they physically pull you in they don't know either so it goes to the number plate only.
Also go to the Traffic department and ask to see the photo, they may have taken the photo of your car, but it was someone undertaking or overtaking that should get the ticket. They also type the number in wrongly sometimes, hence I think the new number plates.
wht kind of car u have? if not van n urban then its private vehicle , cheque ure vehicle road permit expiry date if its same one mentioned in MOI.gov.qa then its ure car and if it shows differnt expiry date then nt ure car . hope it will help u.
