Hello everyone.I am Suresh and I am new to Qatar and Doha.I am from Malaysia of SriLankan origin.I joint the Airline in Jan this year .I am still learning to adjust to the changes.I am 46 this year and am from the aviation back ground with 23 years experience.I have keen interrest in cars though .have rebuilt 2 in my spare time over the years ...not much due to time and space constraints back home.
I am here with the family ,we are family of 3.My wife is Sumitra and my daughter Yaswinii who is 8 years old.
I am looking forward to meet many of you and make new friends.
Currently I am in Barwa City.
I am still reeling from the bad experiences i faced from day 1but its an experience and maybe i can help others by sharing .Currently I am facing big trouble in getting my drivers license.Wish I could solve it.

anyone can suggest a school that can teach driving properly.Or advice me on how to be a good driver to meet the standards here?
I have been driving in malaysia for 23 years without accidents to my name. any advice gents?

My child and wife came down with a bad fever yesterday and I could not find a doctor until the taxi driver took me to Apollo.Without a drivers license I am stranded and the cab fare was a bomb last nite.

Well it all started with my designation in my rp .
This made getting my family rp a drag.but that got done after lots of stress followed by my kids schooling and now my driving license has become an issue.
I was told by the school that I am not eligible for any privilege due to my designation therefor had to do the full test,in march.
I only did my parking in may which i passed .On the day I passed they told me there is a new rule which says the on the road test is 3 months later so end aug will be my date.
Come end Aug I failed.Now i am given a date end of nov .
I guess the school did not teach me well enough to meet the high standard of driving in doha that i see everyday.
